If you not familiar with TED Conference videos, you are in for a real treat.
TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. The two annual TED conferences bring together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes or less).
There are more than 1,400 TED Talks available now, with more added each week.
While distinctly non-Christian (and some blatantly anti-Christian), you will find some of the world’s best thinkers, artists, designers and educators sharing their passions and insights. It can be quite inspirational to see people passionate about their work and communicate so convincingly the importance of their life’s work.
It can be quite convicting too…
Am I that passionate and articulate about the gospel…the most important message in the Universe?
One of my favorites talks is by Sir Ken Robinson entitled “Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity.” Enjoy : )
