A few years ago I recorded this video with my friends at MainStreet, talking about our workflow and some insights into how I organize the Communications Department at Trinity Church. While I’ve learned some things since then, the basic structure is still in place.
- Monthly Publication – (our Connections Magazine) is the central hub of our communication strategy and gives us advance notice of what needs to be planned and produced.
- Weekly Worship Folder – (or if you prefer bulletin) that highlights all church events in the future and what is going on this week.
- Website – The place for everything and More>>
- Social Media – Highlights past events with pictures and videos and promotes upcoming events with coordinated text and graphics.
